8th Day of Committee Stage Debate Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Today is the 8th day of the debate on the 3rd reading of the appropriation bill, also known as the Committee Stage Debate.

Parliament is scheduled to convene at 9:30 AM for this purpose.

Today's debate will focus on the expenditure heads of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, Aviation, Transport, and Highways, and the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction, and Housing.

The expenditure head debate for the Ministry of Health and Mass Media took place yesterday.

The Budget Committee Stage Debate will continue until the 21st of this month.
