Mother, Brother of Main Suspect in Ganemulla Sanjeewa Murder Remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st); The mother and younger brother of the main suspect in the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case have been remanded until March 7th. 

This decision was made after they were presented before Colombo Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasekara today.

The suspects were brought before the court by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) following the expiration of their previous detention order. 

The CCD requested the court to remand the suspects, citing the need for further investigations.

The Additional Magistrate accepted the request and ordered the suspects to be remanded until March 7th. 

The CCD informed the court that the suspects are the mother and brother of the main suspect wanted in connection with the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case.

Investigations have revealed that the suspects were aware of the incident, according to the CCD.
