Dry Weather Causes Water Supply Disruptions in Key Area

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Deepti Sumanasena, has announced that the ongoing dry weather conditions have caused disruptions to the water supply in several areas, including Ratmalana, Piliyandala, Moratuwa, and Panadura. 

Sumanasena stressed that the increased water consumption due to the dry weather has exacerbated the situation. 

He urged the public to use water sparingly and responsibly under the current circumstances to ensure that the available resources are managed effectively.
