Supreme Court Concludes Hearing on Provincial Council Election Bill

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Supreme Court has concluded the hearing of fundamental rights petitions challenging certain provisions of the Provincial Council Election Bill, which were alleged to be unconstitutional.
In concluding the hearings, the Supreme Court announced that its confidential decision will be submitted to the Speaker of Parliament.
