Suspect Arrested with Drugs Worth Over Rs. 15 Million in Mount Lavinia

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect has been arrested in Mount Lavinia, during a raid conducted by the Police Special Task Force.

Approximately 3 kilograms of Hash, 25 grams of Kush, 30 grams of Mandi, 320 narcotic pills, 129 stamps, an air pistol, and two swords were found in suspect's posession.

The total value of the seized drugs is estimated to be over Rs. 15 Million.

The police have confiscated the suspect's car and discovered 4,000 packets used to store drugs. 

Investigations have revealed that the suspect was distributing the drugs under the direction of 'Keselwatta Indika', a drug peddler currently in remand custody.
