24-Year-Old Victim in Mt. Lavinia Shooting Succumbs to Injuries

COLOMBO (News 1st): The victim who was injured in a shooting that took place in Mt. Lavinia, has succumbed to his injuries. 

The deceased was a 24-year-old resident of Badovita.

According to the Police, the suspect was arrested while attempting to flee after the incident. 

The firearm used in the shooting was recovered from the suspect’s possession.

The shooting was carried out by two suspects on a motorcycle, and police are currently investigating to locate the rider who fled the scene.
