Suspect Escapes from Ambalantota Police Cell

COLOMBO (News 1st): A suspect who was detained in the Ambalantota police cell has escaped. 

According to the police, the suspect managed to flee while another inmate was being released from the cell last night.

The fugitive was previously arrested for possession of heroin. 

Authorities have launched a special investigation to capture him.
