Bribery Commission Gets New DG

COLOMBO (News 1st) - High Court Judge Ranga Srinath Abeywickrama Dissanayake has been appointed as the new Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The appointment was made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and is effective from today.

Additional Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption M. R. Y. K. Udawela has been carrying out duties following the resignation of W.K.D. Wijeratne in October who previously served as the Director General.
