New Commander Of Sri Lanka Army To Be Appointed

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Defence has announced that the new Commander of the Sri Lanka Army will be appointed today.
Director of media and spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, Colonel Nalin Herath, said that the relevant documents have been sent to the Presidential Secretariat.
The new army commander will be appointed today following the retirement of the current army commander, Lieutenant General Vikum Liayanage.
