Ghanaian Woman Arrested with Cocaine at BIA

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A Ghanaian woman was arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport for attempting to smuggle cocaine into Sri Lanka.
On arrival from Doha, Qatar, she was found with 4 kg and 68 grams of the drug concealed in her luggage.
The seized cocaine is worth approximately Rs.14.2 million. The woman has been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
