COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka is leaving for India today for an official visit.
This is the first overseas visit undertaken by the President after his assumption of office.
During this visit, which will end on December 17th, the President is scheduled to engage in discussions with high-level diplomats, including the Indian Prime Minister and President.
The primary goal of the visit is to strengthen the Indo-Lanka relationship and enhance bilateral ties between the two nations.
