Shooting Near Maligakanda Court Injures Woman

COLOMBO (News 1st): A shooting has taken place near the Maligakanda Court.
Police Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Buddika Manthunga, stated that a woman was injured in the shooting.
The injured woman was accompanying an individual who had come to the court today to secure bail for a suspect involved in a case being heard at the Maligakanda Court.
The police mentioned that the shooting was carried out by two unidentified individuals who arrived on a motorcycle.
