Over 333,000 Candidates to sit for GCE A/L examination starting tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): The GCE A/L Examination is set to commence tomorrow, with all arrangements finalized, according to Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara.

This year, 333,185 candidates are sitting for the exam, including 253,390 school applicants and 79,795 private applicants.

A total of 2,312 examination centers have been established across the island, supported by 319 coordination centers.

Commissioner General of Examinations says a special program has been implemented to prevent examination fraud.
