Research underway to identify students for school equipment allowance

COLOMBO (News 1st): The gathering of information to evaluate student on their eligibility to receive school equipment has begun.

Officials have informed to submit all information about this matter by tomorrow.

The officials have been instructed to submit information on low-income families so that the children of these families can be granted these concessions.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that steps to provide an allowance to school children will commence starting next year.
