NPP to finalize National List Members for 10th Parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National People’s Power has confirmed that no final decision has been made regarding the appointment of National List Members to the 10th Parliament. 

General secretary of National People's Power Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe said that discussions on the matter will continue.

Meanwhile, Namal Rajapaksa is expected to be proposed for the position of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna's National List Member of Parliament.

However, General Secretary of SLPP Attorney Sagara Kariyawasam emphasized that a final decision on this matter is yet to be reached.

Other political parties have not yet prepared their National List candidates.
