Two Suspects Arrested for Assisting in Matara Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent shooting and murder of an individual in the Navimana, Ruwanwella area of Matara.

The arrests were made by the Special Task Force (STF) during a raid.

According to the police, the suspects were involved in scouting the location and driving the vehicle used in the shooting.

The arrested individuals are residents of Kekandura and Thotamuna in Matara, aged 26 and 29.

The shooting incident, which resulted in the death of a person, occurred on the 15th of this month in the Navimana, Ruwanwella area of Matara.
