Sierra Leone President's Colombo Layover

COLOMBO (News 1st); Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath met with Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio during his private visit to Sri Lanka.

President Bio arrived in the country yesterday on a private trip. He is en route to Samoa to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

This morning, Minister Herath visited the hotel in Colombo where President Bio is staying and held discussions with him.

President Bio is scheduled to depart for Samoa later in the day.
