No Influence in Announcing Presidential Polls - Election Commissioner

COLOMBO (News 1st); Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake said there is no influence in announcing the Presidential Election .

Following an event held in Badulla today, he said that the Election Commission is working according Presidential Elections Act and that the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution will not affect it.
