Anura Vidanagamage Appointed as Uva Governor

COLOMBO (News 1st); President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Anura Vidanagamage as the new Governor of Uva Province. 

This appointment follows the resignation of the former Governor, A. J. M. Musammil.

Musammil tendered his resignation yesterday through a letter addressed to President Wickremesinghe. 

Shortly after his resignation, Musammil announced his support for Sajith Premadasa by joining the Minuwangoda SJB rally.
