Cabinet-Appointed team to visit Singapore for X-Press Pearl Ship Disaster discussions

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special team appointed by the Cabinet to engage in discussions regarding the settlement for the damages caused by the X-Press Pearl disaster is set to depart for Singapore on Monday (17).

The delegation will be led by Attorney General Sanjay Rajaratnam. Discussions on this matter are scheduled to take place on the following Tuesday (18) and Wednesday (19). The Attorney General's department has confirmed the participation of lawyers and officials from shipping and insurance companies in the discussions.
