Sri Lanka to review egg prices

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Livestock Development Board says that it has decided to review the prices of eggs.

State Minister D.B Herath said a discussion will be held on Wednesday (28) with the participation of all stakeholders.

The Minister said that he expects to discuss the existing egg prices and make the necessary amendments.

The Minister further said that the discussion will consider whether the current production cost presented by the egg producers is reasonable.
