Police probing crime wave in Sri Lanka's South

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police says that several special teams have been deployed to arrest the people involved in a series of murders that took place in the south of the country in the past few weeks.

The Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of the Southern Province Ajith Rohana said that investigations are underway concerning 11 incidents.
