COLOMBO (News 1st); A News 1st inquiry revealed that the Kolonnawa Terminal of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation issues fuel for vehicles included in a 'List' sent by someone higher-up.
Just like on Tuesday (28), a large number of vehicles were seen entering the premises on Wednesday (29) for fuel, and then exiting the premises with a full tank.
Most of the vehicles had to park and wait outside the Kolonnawa Terminal of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation as the parking lot had run out of space, and News 1st camera's also captured scenes of fuel being taken away in large barrels.
When News 1st visited the premises today (29) our team was directed to a person who was assigned to issue passes and he noted that the luxury SUVs, Defender Jeeps that pump fuel from the Kolonnawa Terminal belong to the Ministerial Security Division, and a list to allow those vehicles pump fuel is received from higher-ups.
