Over 2,000 dengue cases reported during first week of June

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Dengue Prevention Unit said that 2,416 Dengue cases were reported from 1st to 8th June 2022.

Director of the National Dengue Prevention Unit Specialist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera speaking to News 1st said Dengue is spreading rapidly in the Western Province, while 8 districts have been identified as high risk areas.

The district are Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Galle, Jaffna, Kegalle, and Ratnapura.
