COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chairman of the Avant-Garde Security Service Nissanka Senadhipathi has been summoned before the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) on Monday (30).
The Commission stated that Nissanka Senadhipathi has been summoned based on an allegation that a group of inmates of the Watareka Prison was involved in a political meeting held at Temple Trees on the 9th of May.
The Commissioner-General of Prisons was earlier been summoned before the Commission over the same incident.
The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) stated that the IGP and Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon will be summoned before the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) on Thursday (2nd June).
