Accepting Cabinet positions is against party decision, says Former President

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party said that accepting Ministerial positions is against the decisions taken by the SLFP.

"As a party we have decided to extend our support and not to join," said the CHairman of the SLFP.

"Some of the comments made by the Prime Minister are being misquoted by some SLPP MPs and Minister. It shows that there is some sort of disagreements between the SLPP and the PM," said the Former President added.
