COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sapugaskanda Power Plant and Colombo Port Barge Mounted power plan, resumed the generation of electricity on Saturday (8).
General Manager of Ceylon Electricity Board M.R. Ranatunga stated that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had supplied the required fuel to the power plants last night (07).
Meanwhile, the generator of the Kelanitissa power plant, which had suffered a technical fault, will be reconnected to the national grid on Saturday (08), he added.
