SL wins Gold at Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship on Thursday (09). Accordingly, Srimali Samarakoon won the gold medal in the women's 45 kg weight class at the championship in Uzbekistan. Samarakoon has previously won a silver medal at the 2019 South Asian Games and a silver medal at the 2015 Commonwealth Games and has placed 14th at the 2016 Youth World Championship.
