Conduct clean-up campaigns at schools: National Dengue Unit

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Dengue Control Unit has instructed to conduct clean-up campaigns in areas that are highly prone to dengue, before schools across the country re-open. Academic activities are due to recommence for grades 10 and above from tomorrow (8). Community Physician at the National Dengue Control Unit Dr.Shilanthi Seneviratne says the number of Dengue patients reported in the country is currently increasing. Meanwhile, 23,021 Dengue patients have been reported in Sri Lanka so far this year.
