'We may face a shortage of material sourced from overseas' - Bandula

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena said Sri Lanka will most likely face a shortage of material sourced from overseas, especially from China, where they work only 1 day due to the COVID-19 situation.

"If there is a person who can present a system on controlling prices, please ask that person to meet me," he told reporters on Friday (22).

Given the present situation, we cannot be certain on what goods will not be available in required numbers.
