Replacements for Principals not at school on 21st Oct.

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Southern Province Ministry of Education has decided to appoint a senior teacher present in school on the 21st of October, as a temporary replacement for principals that do not report to work on that day.

The decision was made public via a newspaper advertisement by the Provincial Education Ministry.

The paper advertisement further noted, the Governor of the southern province has ordered that all principals, teachers, Coaches, and staff members must report to work on the 21st of October.

The Southern Province Governor has ordered for the senior-most teacher present in school on that day, to be appointed as the principal as a temporary replacement.
