SPC secures 14.5 million doses of Pfizer

COLOMBO (News 1st); The State Pharmaceuticals Corporation of Sri Lanka has secured 14.5 million doses of Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine, said State Minister (Professor) Channa Jayasumana on Saturday (9).

He said these vaccine doses will be used as a third dose for all Sri Lankans above 20 years.

Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella earlir said that the required number of vaccines to administer the third dose have ordered.

The Minister further stated that as plans to administer the third dose are already drawn, the Ministry of Health will begin administering the third dose soon.
