Eastern Terminal development to commence soon

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Ports and Shipping states that the development work of the Eastern Terminal of the Colombo Port will commence soon under the Ports Authority. Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena said that the procurement process will be completed next week. The Minister said that steps will be taken to transform the Eastern Terminal into a fully equipped terminal with a length of 1,400 meters consisting of 12 cranes by 2024.
