Gammanpila discusses oil on sidelines of Gastech 2021

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila has met several global leaders in oil on the sidelines of the Gastech Exhibition & Conference 2021 in Dubai.

Gammanpila has met a delegation from Exxon Mobil and had held discussions on Gas Exploration in the Mannar Basin, he posted on Twitter.

He had also held discussions with the CEO of ADNOC (Abu Dahbi National Oil Company) Global Trading Company to increase the credit facility to given to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.

The Minister had also met with Dr Akbar Komaijani, Governor of Central Bank of Iran to discuss the repayment of loans by exporting commodities to Iran, and also held Bilateral discussions with Minister of Energy & Infrastructure of UAE, Suhail Mohamed.
