Delta variant detected from Colombo construction site

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three people have tested positive for the Delta variant of the coronavirus from a construction site in Colombo, confirmed Dr. Asela Gunawardena, the Director-General of Health Services said.

Earlier, five people with the DELTA variant were detected from Dematagoda, while two others with the DELTA variant was detected from Madiwela and Polgasowita respectively.
