Body found floating in Kelani River with limbs chained and padlocked

COLOMBO (News 1st); The body of male with limbs bound, was discovered floating in the Kelani River in the Nawagamuwa Police area on Saturday (26).
Police Spokesperson Senior DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said the victims hands were chained and padlocked.
The Nawagamuwa Police investigation revealed the deceased was a person living on rent in Hanwella with his lover.
The Police Spokesperson said a group had abducted the victim on the 23rd of June.
