If you develop COVID symptoms contact PHI or MOH; Dr. Hemantha Herath

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Deputy Director-General of Public Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath has urged the public to pay close attention to COVID-19 symptoms.

"If you develop symptoms contact the locate MOH or PHI without delay," he said adding thereafter based on the priority list the patient will be hospitalized.

Thereafter, tests will be performed to determine if the patient in fact contracted COVID-19 or has contracted dengue.

"If you develop a fever, it is important to inform the local MOH or PHI and proceed to a hospital," he stressed.
