COLOMBO (News 1st); COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka is appealing to donors in the country to support the governments' efforts in containing the spread of COVID-19 and providing treatment to patients.

"Our hospitals are in need of oxygen and we require ventilators when increasing our ICU capacity," said State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle on Saturday (15) while appealing to Sri Lankan donors to join hands with local hospitals to strengthen the treatment process.
