(VIDEO) NMRA urges the people not to have any fear over COVID vaccines

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's National Medicines Regulatory Authority has urged the general public not to fear of getting the vaccine against coronavirus.

Chairman of the NMRA Dr. Rasitha Wijewantha speaking to News 1st said the people should not be deceived by the false information spread across social media with regard to the vaccines currently being used in Sri Lanka.

The National Medicines Regulatory Authority have given the green light for the use of 04 COVID-19 vaccines.

The use of AstraZeneca (COVISHEILD), Pfizer, Sputnik and Sinopharm vaccines for the countries vaccination driver were approved by the NMRA.
