Special security arrangements for 21st April - 02 years since terror attacks

Colombo (News 1st); Special security arrangements will be made for events organized to remember those killed in the 2019 April 21st Attacks.

Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said Police Headquarters sent out a message to all Officers-in-Charge as well as Senior Officers in charge of territorial divisions to monitor the situation. In addition, all OICs were instructed to consult the religious leaders in the respective areas about the security arrangements and provide maximum security for the events that are organized to mark 02 years since the brutal attacks took place.
