Sirisena issues message in line with New Year

COLOMBO (News1st): Former president Maithripala Sirisena, in his New Year message, has said that he wishes the people to overcome their problems and the tasks that they face socially. "I wish you all a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year and a new future," Sirisena said in his New Year message. He observed that the spread of COVID-19 has been controlled in the country with the intervention of the government as the country celebrated New Year.
