Wimal warns of those who try to ruin local production

Colombo (News 1st); There are those in government who continue to operate like late Minister Felix Dias and Former President J. R. Jayawardena in order to discourage local production, warned Minister Wimal Weerawansa. 'The 1977 open economy is what ruined Sri Lanka's local production capacity," said Weerawansa at the launch of a Made in Sri Lanka program on Tuesday (30). Sri Lanka can only achieve success in the future if it successfully identifies those who operate like Felix Dias and J. R. Jayawardena, he said.
