2016 Bond Scam suspects further remanded

Colombo (News 1st); The 07 defendants charged with criminal misappropriation at the 31st March 2016 Central Bank Treasury Bond Scam were remanded to the 01st of April, by the Colombo Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar on Wednesday (31).

The Senior Additional Solicitor General appearing for the Attorney General requested that bail be denied to the defendants. The order on the request will be made on the 01st of April 2021. The matter was called up in the presence of Justices Amal Ranaraja, Namal Balalle & Adithya Patabandige.
