Two More Crime Suspects Deported to Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two more organized crime suspects who had fled abroad have been repatriated to Sri Lanka. 

Sri Lanka Police confirmed that the suspects, who were deported by the Indian government, were brought back to the country by a team from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

The suspects, residents of Hambantota and Moratuwa, face multiple charges related to various crimes. 

They have been handed over to the Terrorism Investigation Division for further inquiries. This follows the repatriation of two other organized crime suspects to Sri Lanka yesterday.
