Sri Lankan Catholics mark 'Black Sunday', demanding justice for terror attack victims

Colombo (News 1st);  The Catholic Church in Sri Lanka marked 'Black Sunday' (07) demanding justice for the victims of the 2019 April 21st Terror Attacks.

The Catholic Archdiocese said that Catholics were instructed to attend Sunday Service across all Catholic churches in Sri Lanka, wearing black.

In addition, a special service will be held in churches calling for justice for the victims of the April 21 attacks.

Arrangements were made to ring the bells in all Catholic churches in the island at 8.45 am today, the Catholic Archbishop said.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Bishops' Conference says those responsible for the April 21 attack should be punished immediately.
