COVID-19: Vaccination Drive begins at Peliyagoda Fish Market & Manning Market

COLOMBO (News 1st): The COVID-19 Vaccination drive to administer the COVISHIELD Vaccine to traders at the Peliyagoda Fish Market and the Manning Market commenced on Wednesday morning (Feb. 17), health authorities said. "The vaccination drive at the Peliyagoda Fish Market and the Manning Market targeting the prioritized groups, is being conducted successfully. Dr. B.G.P. Abeywardena of the Kiribathgoda Base Hospital told News 1st on Wednesday (Feb. 17). However, Dr. Abeywardena noted the authorities expected a larger crowd to visit the location to obtain the jab. The vaccination drive will be carried out on Thursday (Feb. 17) as well.
