Fmr. Speaker Lokubandara bids adieu

COLOMBO (News1st): Former parliament Speaker W.J.M Lokubandara passed away on Sunday at the age of 79, due to COVID-19.
The former speaker had tested positive for the virus and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo, family sources said.
Lokubandara served as the speaker of Parliament from 2004 to 2010 and held several ministries before being appointed as the speaker.
