Ranjan moved to Agunukolapelassa prison

COLOMBO (News1st): Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who has been imprisoned for 4 years for contempt of court completed his 14-day quarantine period on Tuesday. Ramanayake who had been undergoing quarantine at the Pallansena Prison in Negombo had been transferred to the Agunukolapelassa prison, the prisons department noted. Meanwhile, speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana has said that a decision on the parliamentary seat of Ranjan Ramanayake will be announced on February 9.
