08-DECADE LONG CHRONICLE OF SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS RELEASED

Colombo (News 1st); The first copy of the ‘Silent Heroes’ the history book of the near eight-decade-long chronicle of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) of the Army was presented to the President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday at the Presidential Secretariat.

Major General Prabahath Dematanpitiya, Colonel Commandant, SLSC, and Chief of Staff together with a few senior officers presented the first copy to the President, in which the President's segments of services in the SLSC have also been recorded.

General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Sri Lanka Army was also present at the occasion.
