TWO GN DIVISIONS IN EHELIYAGODA & PUJAPITIYA ISOLATED

COLOMBO (News 1st): Two Grama Niladhari Divisions in Eheliyagoda and Pujapitiya, were placed in isolation with effect at 5:00 am on Wednesday (Jan. 06), the Department of Government Information said. Bamunugama Divanawatte GN Division of the Pujapitiya Police jurisdiction and Moragala GN Division of the Eheliyagoda Police jurisdiction were placed in isolation this morning (Jan. 06), Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, the Head of the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak said via a press release issued by the Department of Government Information. Moreover, the NOCPCO further said several Grama Niladhari divisions of the Akkaraipattu police jurisdiction were released from isolation with effect at 5:00 am on Wednesday (Jan. 06).
